Sprinkle powder onto coat, working into skin and brushing against the lay of the hair. Continue adding powder and brushing until coat looks visibly clean and feels fresh. Pay extra attention to oilier areas such as base of tail, belly and behind ears. Brush entire coat to distribute powder and lift hair, removing any clumps. For excess oil or odors, reapply and brush out. No rinsing needed.

Usage Suggestion

Apply powder in a well-ventilated area away from open flames. Have your pet stand for ease of application. Start with dirtier areas, cleaning and brushing one area of the body at a time. Use protective gloves and remove powder from nose and mouth area. Avoid contact with eyes. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. For best results, bathe your pet regularly in addition to using the dry shampoo powder. Store powder in a cool area away from heat and humidity.

For external use only. Keep away from heat/open flames/sparks. Do not ingest powder. Avoid contact with eyes. Irritation may occur in some pets – discontinue if irritation or sneezing persists. See your vet if symptoms worsen or persist. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Dispose of properly according to instructions.

Q: How often should I use the dry shampoo powder?
A: For most dogs and cats, the powder can be used 2-3 times per week for routine freshening up and oil/dirt absorption. However, excessive use of any product could potentially dry out the skin and coat. It is best to establish a regular bathing routine in addition to using the dry powder. For most pets, professional grooming and bathing every 4 to 8 weeks is ideal. Use the dry shampoo powder in moderation in between regular bathing and grooming as needed to maintain freshness. Discontinue if irritation occurs.

Q: Do I need to brush out all of the powder after application?
A: For the best results and to properly refresh and volumize the coat, it is recommended to thoroughly brush out and remove excess powder from the coat after application. Brushing lifts hair follicles, increases circulation and distributes natural and essential oils along with the powder. Leaving excess powder on the coat could attract more dirt and dander and lead to skin irritation in some pets. Brush starting from the head and neck area, moving down and with the lay of the hair using long, sweeping strokes over the entire coat and body.

Q: Is the powder safe for puppies and kittens?
A: N4P Dry Shampoo Powder is formulated to be safe for use on puppies and kittens 12 weeks of age and older when used as directed properly. However, as for any product, it is best used in moderation for young pets while their skin and coat are developing. Excessive use could dry out the coat and possibly lead to skin irritation.
